The method behind every episode page

How we rate TV for kids

Informal parent guidance — not an official ratings board. Your kids — your rules!

✅ 1–2 mild 🤔 3 caution 🚫 4–5 too much

Every episode gets three scores: violence, sex and language, each from 1 (none) to 5 (heavy). The overall kid-rating is the highest of the three, so one spicy category is enough to bump the episode.

1–2

Mild

Fine for most family couches.

3

Caution

Preview first — fine for older kids depending on your rules.

4–5

Too much

Too spicy for younger kids.

What we flag

Each theme lists how many times it comes up and the quote or scene behind it — shown verbatim from the transcript, including profanity and slurs.

Highest wins

Overall is the max of violence, sex and language — not an average.
