Disney+ actually shipped a new theatrical this month: The Mandalorian and Grogu arrived September 2 with a LEGO companion special. Toy Story 5 is five days out. The rest of the family shelf is the catalog you already pay for — Pixar, Marvel kids, Clone Wars.

The brick special that landed with the movie. Recasts a lot of the live-action beats as slapstick. Pedro Pascal is not Din here — it’s a LEGO voice cast — which is the point. This is the Grogu watch if live Mandalorian still feels like a Western.

The May theatrical, now on the service that made the show. Same rules as the series: bounty-hunter violence, Grogu in danger, a Hutt plot. Cute baby, not a baby movie. If they watch The Mandalorian already, this is the obvious Friday night.
